  At Doctors Makeover cosmetic surgery clinic varicose vein treatment is carried out by, and under supervision of, our specialist Vascular Surgeon Mr Maz Mireskandari who had been qualified and fully trained in the United Kingdom. He is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and is on the GMC Specialist Register in the UK. He is trained and experienced in the minimally invasive treatments such as VNUS Radiofrequency Closure FAST and laser (EVLT) ablation as well as the traditional open varicose vein surgery.
  
  You will be assessed and examined during your consultation and an individualised treatment plan for the management of your varicose veins will be drawn up. Once you are satisfied with this plan we will arrange for a convenient appointment to carry out your procedure.

• Which method of varicose vein treatment does Doctors Makeover offer?

  
  

  We believe that in order to be offer the highest quality of service for varicose veins a specialist must have at their disposal a full range of therapies and be comfortable in carrying all out effectively and safely. For this reason, our specialists offer the full gamete of open and endovenous (minimally invasive) treatments for varicose veins; these include VNUS Radiofrequency, Laser EVLT, and foam sclerotherapy. Our preferred endovenous option is the VNUS technique however, if a patient would particularly like another procedure we can also carry it out if clinically equivalent results can be obtained.
  
  

  We use intensive pulse light (IPL) for skin areas of redness and laser beam in the form of Nd:Yag for thread veins and tiny broken veins. However, our trained doctors also use injection techniques with compression for dark and slightly larger veins (sclerosant sclerotherapy).
