Macrolane

Breast & Butoock Enlargement by Injection and Body Shaping without Surgery

What is Macrolane?

Macrolane is a stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main natural-occurring components of skin, therefore, biologically degradable with almost no risk of allergic reaction or transmitting infection. Macrolane is a volume restoration factor/product (Macrolane VRF).

What are the differences between restylane and Macrolane VRF?

Restylane is a thin gel usually used for facial aesthetics but Macrolane VRF is a much thicker gel which is used for volume restoration and contouring of the body surface such as:

  • Breast enlargement/enhancing and shaping
  • Buttock shaping and enlargement
  • Calves shaping
  • Correcting scars, particularly after trauma and surgical procedures
  • Deformities such as dimpling and concavity after liposuction and other procedures

Who could benefit most from Macrolane treatment?

Macrolane is a safe product which could be used as an ideal alternative for those women and men who do not want to undergo an invasive surgical procedure under general anaesthesia.

    How is Macrolane treatment performed?

At our cosmetic surgery clinic, Doctors Makeover, we carry out the procedure under local anaesthesia. Therefore you will be able to walk away after the procedure without the potential risk of general anaesthesia.

How long does Macrolane treatment take?

Our highly qualified and experienced doctors who have been trained in the use of Macrolane will carry out the procedure in our modern and clean minor surgery suite. It takes between 30 to 120 minutes depending on the quantity of gel and the site of injection.

How long does the affect of Macrolane last?

About 12-18 months. A yearly top up programme is required to maintain the results. It could also be replaced by a permanent method, if you are happy with the outcome.

What are the risks of Macrolane?

According to data supplied by the manufacturers (Q-Med), more than 1 million treatments have been carried out in 70 countries with excellent results and minimal adverse effects.

How much does Macrolane treatment cost?

The cost of Macrolane VRF depends on the amount of product to be used, together with the site of injection and the number of sessions which are considered to be necessary for the particular treatment.

We believe that we are one of the most competitive service providers in the country (see Our Price Commitment).
