What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is another safe filler and volume expander which is in use in our cosmetic surgery clinic, Doctors Makeover. The main ingredient of Sculptra is Poly-L-lactic acid which has been in use in surgical procedures for several decades and its safety has been reliably established.
Where do you use Sculptra?
Sculptra is commonly used for treating:
scars
deep folds
wrinkles
volume defects
contour enhancement in places such as the chin, cheeks, periorbital and perioral (around the eyes and mouth).
It has a relatively long-lasting biocompatible and biodegradable life and its effects might persist for up to 3 years.

What are the side-effects of Sculptra?
Sculptra needs a special injection technique, it might cause some bruising, swelling and pain and discomfort at the site of the injection. The doctor will discuss with you the pros and cons of your treatment and any risk at the time of your initial consultation.
How much does Sculptra cost?
We believe that we are one of the most competitive service providers in the country (see Our Price Commitment) and we can match any other filler offers, offered by a doctor in the United Kingdom. The Sculptra price is £450. We also offer a course of three treatments at £1,200.
